transmission swap!!!

Hello my dear friends sprinter owners!!! I live in Brooklyn,NY and drive 2006 316cdi with a automatic transmission I had no choice because here they only sell them with automatic!!! I hate that that we have no choice here!!! And its very bad my RPM is 3000 at 130km/h with a 3.72 rear drive the only one available!!! And my top speed is 130km!!! What I want to do is go to Germany and find all the used parts that I would need to convert my from automatic to manual 5 speed... I know I need gearbox,clutch.shifter,front part of drive shaft,clutch pedal,cables!!! would I need new ECU? What would happen to my old transmission computer its under driver seat? Would I need to reprogram stuff to make it all work??? The mechanical work I'm not afraid off its electrical work that I'm afraid off:( would everything work?

I would let that be if I were you. Might be possible that several parts don't fit. Better buy a used one here; that should be the cheaper solution.

Was passiert mit meinem alten "Schaltsteuergerät unter dem Fahrersitz? Kann ich den neu programmieren damit alles funktioniert?

Vor der mechanischen Arbeit fürchte ich mich nicht, aber vor der Elektronik habe ich Respekt.
