311 CDI tuning bumpers

Hi all,

I have been reading here a few times as I am looking for info regarding optical tuning (styling) of Sprinter vans.
(excuse my English writing. I'm from Holland but am no good in German language. Only drive your cars)

Our company has 3 Sprinters. One older one and 2 from 2003. I drive one of them (311 CDI).
So now I want to style the Sprinter a bit. Obviously there is much more stuff to be found for the new Sprinter (I really like Rennsprinter's Sprinter. A work of art)
First of all I am looking for a new front bumper. So far I only found 2.

I like the first one, but want to know if there is more available before I make a purchase.

There is also another model.
Search for the name "Johnny" in this forum and contact him.

Thanks! I have seen that picture. It's a nice bumper, but would result in re-doing the grille as well.
Think I will go with the 1st one in my previous post.

Also, does anyone know if the original MB rear bumper can be painted?
It's just grey plastic, but it's "PP" (polypropyleen) of which they say can't be painted because it's flexible and the paint would come off.
I don't know if Mercedes sells rear bumpers which can be painted.

Have seen some Sprinters with painted rear bumpers so it's possible...

I myself are not a paint profi, but according to this link (german car painting forum), it should be possible to paint PP, using a special kind of Primer especially for PP:
http://www.fahrzeuglackiererforum.de/pp ... 18&p=59331

I've googled the internet for "Polysol PP Grundierung" and found a shop among the first search results who seems to sell an own kind of PP-primer (not sure if it's the abovementioned Polysol or just some kind of generic brand):
http://www.autolackierbedarf.de/default ... erung.html (last product on that page, scroll to bottom).

I'll ask my painter-buddy, see if he knows something about PP-Painting.

best regards,

benjamin
